Ali Ahmed passes away

Veteran politician Ali Ahmed died at a private hospital in Khulna yesterday morning. He was 83.

He was a freedom fighter and a member of Bangladesh Constituent Assembly of 1972.

He left behind his wife, two sons, three daughters and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith expressed deep shock and condolence at his death.
