Youth caught selling yaba in Rampura

A youth was caught red handed selling yaba pills in Dhaka’s West Rampura this afternoon.
The arrestee was identified as Md Rajib Molla, 22, son of Bacher Molla hailing from Barisal. Elite force Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) announced the arrest in a press release.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Rab-3 raided Thai Residential Area on Ulon Road around 12:30pm and caught him selling the contraband medicine. 80 yaba pills and two mobile phones were seized from him.
During primary quizzing, Rajib said to have confessed selling yaba for quite some time.
Legal procedures were underway against the drug dealer, the press release said.
