Two persons were killed and eight others injured as a truck crashed into five CNG-run auto-rickshaws at Digarkanda by-pass intersection in Mymensingh city yesterday.

The deceased are Saiful Islam, 45, a police constable posted at the Detective Branch of police in Gazipur; and Abul Hashem, 28, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver, said Khandaker Shaker Ahmed, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Kotwali Police Station.
