46 held in anti-drug drive

The police during the anti-narcotics drive 'Red Block' arrested 46 people with yaba, heroin, phensedyl and hemp in the last 24 hours.

The arrestees include Nayan Mia, 31, and his mother Nurnahar Begum, 48, of Uttar Umananda village in Ulipur  upazila.

One bullet and 315 yaba tablets were seized from their house on Sunday night, police said.

Later Nayan was arrested with a revolver at a banana garden near the house.
