Schoolboy held for raping kid

A schoolboy, detained in connection with a case for raping a minor girl in Mymensingh's Dhobaura upazila on Friday, was produced before a court yesterday that sent him to the Juvenile Correction Centre in Tongi. 

The accused, Mohammad Fahad, 15, is a Class VIII student at a local high school.

According to the prosecution, Fahad raped a five-year-old neighbouring girl when none of her family members were present at home.

Hearing screams, villagers rescued the girl and caught Fahad from the spot.
