Youth held with firearm in Savar

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab)-4 arrested a youth with a foreign pistol and a bullet from Rajashon area of Savar municipality, outside the capital, early yesterday.

Acting on a tip-off that a “drug peddler” was hiding in the area, a Rab-4 team arrested Mostofa Miah, 23, of Polash upazila in Narsingdi district, in a rickshaw garage.

Mostofa was handed over to Savar model police yesterday and a case was filed against him.
