MA Tayab, chairman of TK Group of Industries, a Chittagong based business conglomerate, passed away at United Hospital yesterday. He was 71.

He left behind his wife, two daughters, three sons and a host of relatives to mourn his death.

MA Tayab was suffering from lungs problem and was admitted to the ICU of United Hospital, said Tarik Ahmed, director (operation and marketing) of TK Group.

He will be buried today at his family graveyard after two Namaz-e-Janazas at the port city and Patiya upazila, said a press release.
