Rickshaw puller electrocuted

A man was electrocuted at Fatehpur village in Phulpur upazila of the district yesterday.

The victim, Monnas Ali, 35, a rickshaw puller, was son of Tofazzal Hossain.

Monnas, father of two children, was electrocuted when he came in contact with a snapped electric wire near a pond, said Phulpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge AKM Mahbub Alam.

Hearing screams, neighbours rushed to the spot and took him to Phulpur Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared him dead.
