Bus owners observe strike in Khulna

Inter-district bus owners yesterday kept their vehicles off the Khulna and Mongla routes.

A faction of Khulna Bus-Minibus Coach Owners’ (Malik) Association observed the strike on Khulna-Mongla, Khulna-Bagerhat, Khulna-Chitalmari and Khulna-Pirojpur routes due to their internal dispute.

Many passengers were seen stranded on streets.

However, in the evening they held a meeting to reach a solution, said General Secretary of the association Anwar Hossain Sona.
