Youth dies from electrocution

A youth was electrocuted in Piarebari village under Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj yesterday.

The deceased was Pijus Dhali, 18, son of Horipodo Dhali of the village.

Piarebari Union Parishad Member Mintu Boudo said Rana Mia set an electric wire on his paddy seedbed for killing rats. Pijus came in contact with the wire and died on the spot. Victim's father filed a case against three people with Kotalipara Police Station.
