4 NSTU students suspended

The authorities of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) have suspended four students on charge of assaulting teachers and security personnel on Sunday.

The students are Mohaiminul Islam Nuhash of pharmacy department, Khairul Bashar Biplob and Abdur Rakib of agriculture department and Nazrul Islam Naim of economics department.

They have also been asked to show cause within the next seven days as to why they will not be expelled permanently, said Iftekhar Raju, public relations officer of the university.

On Sunday, the four students illegally entered an examination hall and assaulted several teachers and Ansar members when they were asked to leave the venue during the ongoing admission process, said university sources.
