Sheringham's son in town

Former England striker Teddy Sheringham's son Charlie Sheringham is currently in Dhaka for a trial with Bangladesh Premier League outfit Saif Sporting Club.

The 29-year-old striker, who is currently a free agent after playing in non-league for few years following brief stints in the English top-flight, is supposed to have trial with Saif SC tomorrow for the mid-season transfer window.

“He [Sheringham] arrived in Dhaka on Monday and is supposed to have a trial from tomorrow," Saif SC's managing director Nasiruddin Chowdhury said, adding that Sheringham would play two practice matches against Mohammedan and Sheikh Jamal on November 2 and 5.
