Two arrested with stolen car

Police arrested two alleged car lifters with a stolen car in Mahiganj-Amtala area of Rangpur city on Thursday night.

The arrestees are Ataur Rahman, 40, and Bhutto Mian, 37, of Taiyab village in the district.

Tipped-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area about 2:15am and arrested the duo with the car, said Abdul Quader Jilani, officer-in-charge of Rangpur Kotwali Police Station.
