Busy times for BONNA MIRZA

Popular actor of the small screen Bonna Mirza has been juggling heavy responsibilities as a presenter, actor and a member of Film Artistes' Association. She is currently involved in a few television series, and never fails to grace the screen in single episode TV plays on special annual occasions.
Following the Film Artistes' Association elections, Bonna Mirza has been designated the responsibility of Programme Secretary. “As Programme Secretary of the organisation I have had to invest a lot of my time to fulfill the role. It has been rewarding and I am learning many things along the way,” she stated.
Bonna Mirza can be currently seen in “Ful Mahal”, a series directed by Sokal Ahmed and currently aired on Banglavision. The narrative centres on the life of a zamindar, and is set in the past. The actor plays the role of a woman taking shelter in the manor, saying, “The plot is very unique and retains the authenticity of the period.”
Mirza is currently preparing for a brand new TV series directed by Sumon Anwar. Shooting will commence soon.
The actor is also a morning show host twice or thrice a week on Ekattor TV at a programme titled “Ekattorer Shokal”. She is currently in talks to host another programme. “I love anchoring, and it is a refreshing break from my regular acting job,” said the artiste.
Bonna Mirza's career began in theatre, and she has held onto her roots throughout the years, although her on stage presence has somewhat declined with TV plays occupying her time. She has expressed her desire to revive old Desh Natok plays, as well as work in their future productions.
