Photo exhibition on architectures of 2 Bangladeshis

The pictures of architectures, designed by two Bangladeshis and recently selected for Aga Khan Award for Architecture, were displayed at Edge Gallery in Dhaka's Gulshan-2 yesterday.
Dhaka's Bait Ur Rouf Mosque of Marina Tabassum and Gaibandha's Friendship Centre of Kashef Mahboob Chowdhury were shown among 19 pictures of selected establishments there.
“I always wanted to manifest it through my work,” Tabassum told the programme held by Aga Khan Development Network and the cultural affairs ministry to honour the two.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor said, “It is probably a record that two architects from one country have won the award.”
The award will be given on November 5 and 6 in Dubai and Al-Ain, UAE.
