Score! Hero is a mobile game that has thoroughly satisfied me with its immersive gameplay, storyline and praiseworthy visuals. 

The story starts with you selecting a "hero'"from a primary roster and choosing his nationality and club. You play for both your selected country and your club. Your hero is a striker and the story will follow him but you will have to play as any of his teammates within the game. You can also customise your hero's features, most of which require real or in-game cash. 

The gameplay is pretty unique but easy to pick up. The main and basic objective is to pass or shoot from a still position within the game by swiping on the screen to the destination. The player's view can be explored to a certain point and you can also zoom in or out. When giving a through ball or a cross you can choose the player you want to receive the ball. If an opponent player intercepts it will be counted as an error and the level restarts.

The game progresses season-wise. Each season has 20 levels. You need to score one or more goal in each level. It starts with an arbitrary team member and you have to build up to a goal. Each level offers three stars that can be achieved via performing certain tasks like "Shoot at the top corner" or "Assist with your hero". Seasons have to be unlocked using a certain number of stars.

The only drawback is that you have a limited life that decreases with each error you occur. It restores over time but binge gaming is not an option here unless of course you master the game.
