BUSBD.COM: Purchasing bus tickets are now few clicks away!

 
So, what is the site? Behold:  www.busbd.com, the only function online bus ticketing site; according to its developers. Well, The site offer a unique purchasing method that only requires you to select your destination, departure point, time and date far away from the actual ticket counter. After selecting your desired coach you can even select the seats from the allotted one for this site. After selecting the seats, you are all set for the payments. The methods of payments are quite a few. You could use your VISA or MASTER or DBBL NEXUS card or BKASH payment systems. But even if you don't have any of the means stated above, you could also purchase it with assistance of the call center agents (who are available 24 hrs) by dialing 16287 via cellphone and pay to your nearest BUSBD agent. You can actually check for your nearest agent by going through the agent list. There are more than 35 agents available for now.  So most likely you are going to find an agent in your neighborhood (provided you are in the capital). After the payment you will be receiving a SMS that you need to store. Showing this SMS you have to collect your ticket from the point of departure. Points that you need to keep in mind is that they don't have more than 6 tickets allotted per coach and you can only buy up to 4 tickets in a single session.
Currently the site offers more than 30 destinations of which ticket's can be purchased online. The list is getting longer day by day. Good news indeed! The service is so far satisfactory. The design of the site could be better but we can live with the current one. The purchasing mechanism works fine. The payment does too.  So far the most frustrating part of the site is many (actually the most) popular destinations like Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Bandarban are not enlisted yet. Also many popular coaches are not in the list as well. The destinations are also not arranged alphabetically, making hard for users to find in one go. Another thing is you need to pay 4% extra charge (Pretty low hence acceptable) in case you pay with credit/debit cards.
Though the site might have some shortcomings but still we think it has a long way to go. If the more popular destination and coach services can make this site list, we believe the traffic of the site is going to hit sky high!
