The 42nd death anniversary of martyred Capt Aftabul Qader Bir Uttam will be observed tomorrow. He sacrificed his life during a direct battle with the Pakistani force at Mahalchhari of Khagrachhari on the day in 1971.
On the occasion, a discussion meeting, a Qurankhwani and a doa mahfil will be held at 11:00am at the Conference Room of Bangladesh Institute of Journalism and Electronic Media in the capital's Elephant Road.
