Obituary

Brig Gen (retd) Khurshid Uddin Ahmed died due to old age complications in the capital's United Hospital yesterday. He was 80.
He played a vital role in the Language Movement of 1952 while he was a student of Dhaka Medical College and also played an active role in the Liberation War of 1971.
