Former Awami League lawmaker Shamim Osman yesterday filed a Tk 10-crore defamation suit against Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Dr Selina Hayat Ivy for terming him a “killer”, “terrorist” and “godfather” and linking him to the murder of Tanvir Mohammad Toki.
Judge Moshiur Rahman of the Narayanganj District and Session Judges' Court asked Ivy to give a reply on this matter on May 5.
