A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling in West Rampura in the capital yesterday.
The victim Moni Rani Das, 24, was a garment worker.
Her cousin recovered the body from her room in a dormitory for workers at about 6:00pm, said Rampura police.
The reason behind the death could not be known, the police added.
