US spy drone crashes in Pakistan
An unmanned US Air Force spy plane crashed during a test flight in southern Pakistan, a senior Pakistani police official said on Tuesday. The drone crashed on Monday evening moments after it took off for the air base in Jacobabad, Rana Fathe Shar Joya, a senior superintendent of police in the city, told Reuters.
"It crashed because of technical problems and not because of any hostile fire," he said. "There was no casualty on the ground."
The heavily guarded Jacobabad air base is on the outskirts of the city, in the southern province of Sindh.
