Truck driver abducted in Rangamati

Tribal miscreants abducted a truck driver in Kawkhali upazila of the district Saturday night. Police said a gang of 15 miscreants kidnapped Kurban Ali, 42, at gunpoint from Tarabunia area as he refused to give in to their demand for toll.

On January 16, tribal miscreants abducted five labourers from a brick field in Gabtala area of the same upazila after failing to secure Tk 20 lakh as toll money.
