Three kids drown in ponds

Three kids drowned in ponds in Sirajganj and Manikganj yesterday.
Two minor girls drowned in a pond in Durganagar village of Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj district yesterday morning, reports our Pabna correspondent.
The deceased are Pushpo Sarkar, 4, daughter of Bablu Sarkar and Choiti Mondol, 3, daughter of Paritosh Mondol is cousin.
Family members said Pushpo and Choiti while playing near the pond in the morning fell into it and drowned .
In Manikganj, a minor boy drowned in a pond at Barabaka village under Singair
upazila yesterday, reports our correspondent.
The victim was identified as Saim Hossain, 3, son of Hasmat Ali of the village.
Victim's father said Saim went out to play. Later his body was found floating in a nearby pond at around 12:00 noon.
