Taslima leaves for Sweden

Taslima Nasreen, the controversial feminist writer, left Dhaka for Sweden Sunday night, reports UNB. Confirming her departure, family sources said she flew to Sweden by a British Airways flight. Taslima came to Dhaka secretly from New York with her ailing mother in September last. Her mother died of cancer early this month. After the burial of her mother at the family graveyard in Mymensingh, Taslima stayed there and returned to Dhaka on Saturday night.
