The prices of the most shares on the country’s premier bourse increased on Monday after witnessing downtrend for the last few days.
DGEN, the general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose 68 points to reach at 4,329 points at closing of the day's trading.
Of the issues traded, 211 advanced, 54 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
A total of 75,874 trades were executed with Tk 346 crore changing hands.
On Sunday, the trading at DSE reached 4,260 points after dropping 51 points.
