Stocks gain

The prices of the most shares on the country's premier bourse increased on Tuesday, to continue a gaining streak of the previous day.

DGEN, the general index of DSE, gained 18 points to reach 3,977 points at the end of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 165 advanced, 90 declined and 30 remained unchanged.

A total of 78,829 trades were executed with Tk 237 crore changing hands.

On Monday, the trading at DSE reached 3,958 points after increasing 63 points.
