Shahid Rafiq Smriti Pathagar anniversary celebrations

Shahid Rafiq Smriti Pathagar, a library in Manikganj established in memory of Language Martyr Rafiq Uddin Ahmed, celebrated its 9th anniversary. On the occasion a discussion was held at Sangskritik Biplobi Sangha auditorium. Anfa F Khan, executive member of the organisation, presided over the discussion. Kollol Mostofa, and Prof Nasim Akhter Hussain addressed the gathering.
The discussants protested against the government's move to set up a power station at the Sundarbans which would lead to the destruction of the mangrove forest.
