Road accidents kill 4, injure 35
Four people were killed and 35 others injured in separate road accidents across the country on Sunday and yesterday.
Our Natore correspondent reports, a man was killed and two others injured when two trucks collided head-on at Dairpara in Lalpur upazila yesterday.
The deceased, Abu Sayeed, 25, driver of one of the trucks, hailed from Bogra. The injured are helper of the deceased and driver of the other truck.
Our Bogra correspondent adds, a person was killed and four others injured when the three-wheeler carrying them veered out of control and fell into a ditch beside Shibganj-Bogra road at Mohasthangarh in Shibganj upazila early Sunday.
The deceased is Mahbub, 20, of the upazila. The injures were rushed to Shibganj Upazila Health Complex.
Our Bandarban correspondent adds, a man was killed and four others injured when a truck overturned in Bethchhara area of Rowangchhari upazila yesterday.
Anachandra Tripura, 35, was a labour. The injured, including the driver, were rushed to Bandarban Sadar Hospital.
Our Netrakona correspondent reports, a passenger was killed and 25 others were injured when a bus fell into a roadside ditch in Gurastan after the driver lost his control over the steering yesterday.
The deceased is Lokman Hossen, 45, of Kalmakanda upazila.
Some of the injured were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital while others to local health complex.
