Reshuffle in police dept

In a reshuffle in the police department, 14 senior officials with the ranks from deputy inspector general [DIG] to additional superintendent of police (ASP) were transferred yesterday.
The home ministry has sent the transfer letter to the Police Headquarters, said a circular yesterday.
DIG of Police Headquarters Mohammad Nazibur Rahman has been transferred as DIG to Police Telecom in Rajarbagh while Additional DIG Mohammad Fazlur Rahman of Police Staff College, Dhaka as additional DIG to Bangladesh Police Academy at Sardah in Rajshahi and Additional DIG Mahbub Hakim of Special Branch (SB) of police as additional DIG to Khulna Metropolitan Police.
Additional DIG Hasib Aziz of Telecom has been transferred as commandant to Police Training Centre, Noakhali while Additional DIG Mozammel Hossain of Police Staff College to CID as additional DIG, Sarwar Morshed Shamim of fifth Armed Police Battalion, Dhaka as superintendent of police (SP) to Dinajpur, Alamgir Rahman of Nilphamari as special SP to SB, and SP Mizanur Rahman of Dhaka Metropolitan Police to commandant in Range Reserve Force (RRF), Dhaka.
SP Abu Kalam Siddique has been made deputy commissioner of DMP. SP Moniruzzaman of Laxmipur has been transferred to SB as special SP while Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Moniruzzaman to Laxmipur as SP, Additional Deputy Commissioner of DMP Mollah Jahangir Hossain to Satkhira as SP, Additional SP Zobaidur Rahman of Mymensingh to Nilphamari as SP and Additional SP Sajid Hossain to Gaibandha as SP.
