Protect your phone from the rain

General awareness: If the phone is smart, then you have to be the same to keep it healthy. When you see that it is pouring outside do not go out with the phone. If that's not always possible, at least be sure to keep it in a cover. And wait until you are under some sort of shelter before checking the whatsapp message. Protect that phone.

Think before you charge: These phones are power suckers usually, which is why as soon as you get home you make a bee line for the charging station. But it might be wise to stop and think, or wipe, before you connect the phone to the charger. Check all the ports are dry before charging your device; wet internal parts can lead to a short circuit.

Last but not least: Never turn your phone on when it's wet and has turned itself on. It will only do irreparable damage. Take it to a phone doctor near you.
