Power play in politics
We are familiar with the term power play in cricket match when batsmen try to crush the bowlers by hitting boundaries and over boundaries. On the other hand, the bowlers try to be economical.
In recent times, tension has mounted in our political field because of the power play between the two illustrious political gladiators. The “all-party government” tries to impede the pinch hitter batsmen of opposition party by sending them into the prison. The opposition, on the other hand, hurls more cocktails and petrol bombs at general public. Their scoreboard rises geometrically with the death of common people.
