Obituary

Sore Qaom Yousuf Aman Ullah, motwalli (caretaker) of the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA), died of old age complications at a private hospital in Sylhet city yesterday. He was 76.
He left behind a son and five daughters.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held today after Zohr prayers at the shrine mosque.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Finance Minister AMA Muhith and Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran expressed deep shock at the death and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
