Nursing students yesterday agitated on college campuses to realise their 6-point demand.
The students of Mymensingh Nursing College staged a three-long hour sit-in on the college premises to press home their demands, reports our correspondent.
The demands included introduction of a 4-year nursing course, one-year internship, increasing monthly stipend to Tk 3,000, allowing to wear apron and higher education facilities in nursing.
The nursing students of the college started their programme at 10:00am and they continued it for three hours.
A rally was held after the sit-in.
At the rally, the students said that they were deprived of proper facilities for continuing study.
