Media Cup from Saturday

Kool-BSJA Media Cup football tournament gets underway from Saturday at the artificial turf adjacent to Bangaladesh Football Federation House.
Former champions The Daily Star will start the campaign taking on Manab Zamin in one of eight matches on the opening day.
A total of 24 media houses, divided into eight groups, will first play the round-robin matches with the top team of each group advancing to the quarterfinals, informed tournament committee convenor Raihan Al Mughni at the Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) office yesterday.
Square Toiletries is sponsoring the seven-a-side football tournament which was last held in 2011.
BSJA president Sayeeduzzaman, general secretary Saidur Rahman Shamin and Malik Mohammad Sayeed, head of marketing of Square were among other presents on the occasion.
