Bangladeshi Grand Master Ziaur Rahman split points with Indian IM Thej Kumar in the 10th round of the 6th Mayor Cup International Open Chess Tournament in Mumbai yesterday.
The draw took Zia to six points while GM Enamul Hossain Rajib and FM Debaraj Chatterjee were on five points each. In the 10th round matches, Rajib lost against Chinmay Kulkarni of India while Debaraj beat Gevorgyan Maria of Armenia.
