Maple Leaf Int'l School registers with Ed-Excel of London University
Maple Leaf International School has recently become the first school in the country to have obtained registration with the University of Examinations Board Ed-Excel in the United Kingdom, says a press release.
The major implication of this registration is that the Ed-Excel that conducts the GCSE 'O' and 'A' level examinations will now mention the name of the school in the certificates it awards. This means that the students of the school will now be treated as regular students graduating from a prestigious institution and not private candidates.
Maple Leaf International School, established in 1972, is one of the oldest English medium schools in the country. It was also the first institution in the country to obtain permission to conduct science practical classes, paving the way for students to sit for science subjects at 'A' levels.
