Anjan's:catering to all fashion tastes
In business for than two decades, Anjan's is a common and well heard name amongst Bangladeshis for their massive collections in attires, home décor, jewellery and so much more. And like always, they have a whole new collection for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha that can cater to a wide variety of fashion tastes. Their usual collections involve lots of ethnic designs true to our heritage, and as always all the new stuff is available in all the brand's outlets.
Besides the usual, the new collections feature a ton of bold sarees and Panjabis that can be sported in numerous ways. Solid red sarees with wide matte gold embroideredborders to provide lots of texture, magenta sarees with thread work, and lots of crimson and verdant combinations in different shades of the colours.
Shalwar suits come in many varieties too. There are beige and cream options for those who wish to go lighter, these are designed with complimenting shades of browns, gold and blacks to keep it minimalist but gorgeous at the same time. For the brave there are bright shades of magentas, lime greens, yellows and purples. Baby pinks, muted greens are only some of the many muted shades available. Lots of ribbons, slits and flares are featured on the sleeves and trousers for an airy and lightweight feel. Single Kurtis are also available, which can be paired with their single trousers which too come in numerous shades and textures. From light-handed blocks to super heavy thread work, the combinations are endless with all these clothes. The focus for most clothes are mainly on the fabric, which give the dresses a nice sheen and structure, for aminimalist yet elegant and dressy look.
Art Of Blue is another line that Anjan'srecently debuted, and it involves everything to do with the colour blue, and all its shades and hues. Cotton sarees in tie dye, mixtures of whites and blues and tassels on the ends are some of the designs one can spot in the saree collection. The shalwar suit designs are no different, with numerous textures of blues in prints, blocks and solid colours; and the same goes for men's collection as well with blues thrown onto Panjabis, Kurtas, shirts and more.
Although Anjan's is mostly known for their amazing grasp over ethnic style, they have come up with something quite new and fresh for the busybodies of the modern day, their line MARGIN.This line has lots of linens and georgettes, and holds a fusion of clothes that can go from good old casual to night-out chic. The women's line has a lot of checks and stripes on flared sleeves and pants, and mostly sport loose outlines. Some of the clothes in this line come with little to no embroidery, but put the focus on flares, cut-out shoulders, and frills while creating a clean silhouette perfect for day-time wear. The rest comprises of longer dresses with small but gorgeous embroideries to swap on for dinner parties.Men's collection has casual shirts in subtle prints, and tee-shirts with fun graphics. As for children, there are frocks and little dresses in fun bright colours, as well as smaller versions of the adult attires and panjabis if you wishto match with your little ones.
