JB Annual Confce 2000 held
The Annual Conference of the Area/Regional/Corporate Branch chiefs of Janata Bank for the year 2000 was held at the BCIC auditorium in the city on Wednesday.
SA Chowdhury, Managing Director of Janata Bank, presided over the conference, says a press release.
Mohammed Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, was the chief guest at the conference.
Speaking on the occasion, all pointed out that this sort of conference for mutual understanding was vital and useful for the progress and development of the bank.
He urges all concerned to offer better and improved customer service, mobilise low-cost deposit, strengthen the recovery of classified advances and avoid further classification, increase proper and productive investment to attain the profit target of the bank.
The managing director of the bank called for gearing up recovery of classified advances and avoiding further classification, strengthening the monitoring system, utilising the man power properly and achieving the 2000 profit target.
Md Lutfur Rahman Khan, Director of Janata Bank, said that the classified advance of the bank must be recovered and should be brought to a minimum level for the existence of the bank.
Younus Ali Howlader Deputy Managing Director of the bank advised the executives to give the highest importance to recovery of the classified advances and take proper steps for productive and meaningful investment to earn.
All general managers and executives of the bank were present at the conference.
