GD filed over gunshots before Khaleda's office

A general diary (GD) was filed with the capital's Gulshan Police Station yesterday in connection with three gunshots fired before BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office on Sunday night.
Gulshan police said high police officials went to the office after the incident and BNP submitted a written complaint to the officials.
In the complaint, BNP did not mention any name and police filed it as a GD. Police will investigate the incident and take legal action, Gulshan Division Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Khankder Lutful Kabir told The Daily Star.
According to the office staff, a group of youths riding on three motorcycles appeared before the two-storey office building, fired the gunshots and left. Khaleda Zia was inside the office during the incident.
