Gazipur DC asked to prepare list of Bhawal Raj estate lands

The Deputy Commissioner of Gazipur district has been asked to prepare a list of khas land including the lands of former Bhawal Raj Estate which have been allotted to institutions or individuals at different period after independence.

Industries Minister MK Anwar said the list would be prepared within shortest possible time.

The Bhawal Raj Estate had hundreds of bighas of land in Gazipur district and several thousand bighas of land from the estate were allotted to different institutions and individuals after 1972, but the government has no list or statistics in this regard.
