A fire broke out at a cargo terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Friday noon.

Ten units of Fire Service and Civil Defence rushed to the spot and doused the fire after one-and-a-half-hour of hectic efforts around 1:40pm, fire service officials said.

The cause of the fire and amount of damages are yet to be known.
