Fire at North South University
A fire broke out in the basement of the NorthSouthUniversity building in Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on Sunday evening.
Ziauzzaman, officer-in-charge of Bhatara Police Station told The Daily Star that the fire might have originated from short circuit at the generator room around 8:15pm.
Six fire fighting units from different fire service stations rushed in and doused the fire around 9:30pm.
No one was reportedly injured in the fire.
