Rajuk conducts eviction drive at Wari, Swamibagh

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) yesterday conducted a drive against unauthorised commercial entities in residential areas of Swamibagh and Wari in the city.

Led by Rajuk Executive Magistrate Jesmin Akhter and Authorised Officer Md Nur Alam, the drive fined owner of an under-construction building Tk 2 lakh for not keeping open space, and a rod-cement shop was fined Tk 50,000 for running operations in a parking lot. Several commercial entities were sealed off and some others were asked to move within seven days.
