Prof Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman has been appointed as the vice chancellor of United International University (UIU) for a four-year term, says a press release.

He was the pro-VC of UIU for three consecutive terms. Earlier, Prof Mofizur was a teacher of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) for 15 years and later served as the head of the department of CSE in 2000-2001.
