Charge sheet against 22 in Bogra Sujan killing case

Police have submitted charge sheet against 22 men in Bogra district Awami League youth and sports affairs secretary Sujan killing case.
The charge sheeted accused are local Jubo League activists Mostakim Rahman, Adil, Kafi, Noman, Anamul, Nadim, Sumon, Shimanto, Pallob, Hossain, Hasan, Bellal, Manik, Shanto, Shahidul, Nayan, municipality councillor and town BNP leader Hiru Pashari and Bappi, Jewel, Kabir, Bappa and Nurunnabi.
Nur-e-Alam Siddiki, officer in-charge of Sadar police station and investigation officer (IO) in the case, submitted the charge sheet before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate on Saturday.
On November 29 last year, Sujanur Rahman Sujan, 53, was stabbed to death near his residence at Malgram in the town.
The killing took place while Sujan was returning home from his business centre.
Sujan's wife Monjuara Begum Rubi filed a case accusing 26 people in connection with the killing.
Police then arrested seven people including charge sheeted accused Bappa and Nurunnabi, said the IO.
