Caritas distributes warm clothes in northern region

Caritas Bangladesh, an NGO, has started distribution of winter clothes among cold-hit people in the northern region. Under the programme, 3500 ladies' shawls, 3500 gents' shawls and 3500 sets of warm clothes for babies are being distributed through Caritas regional offices of Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Chittagong, Barisal and Dhaka, said a press release.

Caritas is also distributing new and old clothes collected from various individuals and organisations.

Multi-national buying house Mondial has donated over 2000 pieces of clothes to Caritas for distribution among the cold-wave victims.

Caritas will receive donations of old and new clothes or cash money for distribution among the cold-hit people, said a press release.
