Bye bye hiccups
Hiccups are not just physically disturbing, they are also embarrassing. They are usually the reaction of digestive problems. Gulp in a few of pinches of salt, followed by small sips of water, following it up with slow breaths. Or, gulp in a tea spoon of sugar.
Alternatively, you might try another method. Open your mouth and keep it like this for about a minute or two. If you need to swallow, do that, but keep your lips apart. Now try gulping every few seconds. With the continuous gulping, your hiccups may be gone within two to three minutes.
