BSF picks up cattle trader in Lalmonirhat
Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday picked up a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Muglibari border in Burimari land port area of Patgram upazila.
The victim was identified as Mohammad Sazu Mia, 26, son of Abdul Majid of Muglibari village in the upazila.
Quoting locals, BGB said, the BSF troops from Chengrabandh camp caught Sazu while he along with other cattle traders was returning home through the border in the early hours.
Confirming the incident, commanding officer of Lalmonirhat BGB Battalion-15 Lieutenant Colonel Mahbubur Rahman said, they sent a letter to BSF protesting the incident.
