BHOOT FM

Bhoot FMWhen the full moon descends upon the remote tea gardens bordering the Himalayan foothills, a strange wolf-like creature prowls the land terrifying locals. Further south in a Bengali village, a horrified madrasa student discovers a strange looking woman on his doorsteps feasting on human bones. Meanwhile, in a provincial town, a heartbroken man discovers that his girlfriend literally wants his heart.
For the first time in Bangladesh, haunted creatures are on air. Every Friday night at 1159 pm to 2 am, Radio Foorti is airing Bhoot FM haunted by Airtel.
Every week men and women who have been bothered by the country's haunted folks are invited to the Radio Foorti studio. Those who cannot come to the studio can send audio tapes, emails, letters, which will be read out by RJ Rasel, an entertaining presenter who seems a bit too familiar with ghosts for his own good. Those with the best or more appropriately speaking the worst experience with these unwanted creatures are invited to the show.
Bhoot FMSometimes a ghost hunting expedition is also organised courtesy of Airtel Bangladesh ltd. An entertaining adventure, as long as the hunters do not become the hunted.
Be it the wilderness of the Sundurbans, the jungle where the spirits and tigers roam side by side, the busy and bustling city of Dhaka, or even the teeming metropolis of London, they are lurking about. Sometimes a person walking besides you in the dark might not exactly be one who abides by the conventional ecosystem. Many houses and apartments in modern Dhaka, including a reputable educational institute is occupied by creatures that seem a little out of place. Fortunately, not all ghosts are bad guys!
Whether or not, ghosts or other supernatural creatures e.g. werewolves, vampires, witches, gecho (tree) bhoot, mecho (fish eating) ghost, shakchunni, and so on exist for real is a debate that shall never be resolved. But ghost stories are here to stay.
